We have had the pleasure of working with Wheaton Arts Parade on two community mosaics.
The three panels below were done alongside residents at the Amherst/Pembridge apartment complex in Wheaton, Maryland. We created a triptych mosaic that reflected the past, present, and future of the communities of the residents who live in the apartment.
The mosaic project below was done by Edwin in conjunction with a co-artist, Allyson Sanchez. The project was made on a wooden tetrahedron with three Salvadoran families from the Wheaton, Maryland community. Each family did a panel and each panel represents scenes of El Salvador.
